This kitty is Joan of Arc because the accident that clouded her eye and some of her back fur happened when she was a kitten. Her humans have always known her like this and so named her for the brave and noble heroine.
This is #12 of 31 paintings in August. I actually painted her last month, but it's ok. I make the rules for my Daily Painting goal, and this one hadn't been posted yet! So there. I saved her for today, when VOS Episode 269 has finally been posted (which Moo-tastic Muses and Bunny Buddies on my Patreon can now watch here!) showing the underpainting and pasteling of Joan.
