This is a little painting of a Texas Longhorn, so I'm calling it "Little Longhorn". Yeah ok, it's been a long month of paintings and not a lot of time left for title research lol.
But really, it's so fun to find an adult Longhorn in a pose that fits so well in a LITTLE painting! I'm so used to wanting to fit the horns in, which just won't happen in a front-on pose unless the painting is large enough. Sure, I had to crop one horn here, but altogether I think it's a pretty nice little composition. And I just love the subtle light. This was a really enjoyable little painting.
