While each painting is unique, awards bring special recognition to artists. This year, the awards juror for Art of the Pastel 2016 is internationally known artist Cheng Lian. Mr. Lian will preview the paintings the day of the show and select five paintings for special acknowledgement and cash awards. Award-winning paintings will be announced at the Artists' Reception. Due to the same-day judging, winning artists will not be notified prior to the event.
PSST hopes that you and all your friends and family will join the festivities at the Artists' Reception. Although my painting The Fairy Rose has already sold, most all the other works in the show are available for sale, and you have a unique opportunity to meet and chat with the artists who will be attending the reception!
