My son graduates from high school this month. He'll be getting (finally!) his driver's license, and a job (I hope,) before heading off to Texas Tech at the end of August. I'm preparing to be a little bit stressed in these transitional weeks toward the end of May while he gets settled in his first job and starts driving on his own...

Aaak!
Cottonwood Art Festival
May 7-8, 2016 - Richardson, TX
... So I only have two events scheduled this month, early! Cottonwood is an art festival I've heard many good things about, and I'm excited to finally be juried in!
The painting above, my most recent large painting "Castor and Pollux", will be with me at Cottonwood, as well as dozens of others just picked up last week from my south Texas galleries where I had many paintings displayed through the winter.
Last November was one of my 30-in-30 months, so I have a lot of paintings left that have not yet seen an art fair!
The paintings that survive the mad rush at Cottonwood will go with me to Watters Creek in Allen, Texas the following weekend... ;) But don't worry, I'll be painting new stuff meanwhile!
Watters Creek is a beautiful 52 acres resort-style master planned community and a major shopping and dining destination for the area.
