January 2017

The year has just begun and already it's getting away from me! Though January is traditionally a slow month for me, I've been catching up with post-Christmas portrait orders, working on some paintings for competition, have added new workshops to my schedule, and have just finished revamping my Drawings site (so I can finally share it with you here!)

Auction of the Week

"Sweetie" (pastel, 8x6 inches)

This is another adorable bunny from the generous and friendly members of the House Rabbit Society group on Facebook. A portion of the sale of this painting will be donated to the House Rabbit Society.

The House Rabbit Society is an international, nonprofit animal welfare organization which rescues abandoned rabbits and finds permanent adoptive homes for them, and through education, seeks to reduce the number of unwanted rabbits and to improve bunnies' lives by helping people better understand these often misunderstood companion animals.
