Dear Subscriber,
August is my last "restful" time before the Fall craziness starts... so
what am I planning to do with it? Yes, I've decided to try for a
31-in-31 Daily Painting Month in August! (Hey at least it keeps me in
the a/c)
I've also got some paintings in an exhibit with the Central Texas
Pastel Society, and have added another workshop to my 2027 calendar...

August Dailies!

Here are a few of the underpaintings I've been working on, to prepare
for a "31-in-31" month of pasteling in August. Yes, my rules of "Daily
Painting" are simple: I shall try to post a new* completed painting
each day of the month. ...doesn't mean I can't get a head start, lol!
(*new just means never before posted on my website. ;)
I invite you to follow along! To see each new painting as it's posted,
subscribe to my "new art alerts"
(if you
haven't yet) or join my Patreon
for free to get all the
public posts. (Hint: Many of these new paintings will be auctioned on
Dailypaintworks
!)
It promises to be a wild ride!

Ever curious about what goes on behind the scenes in the studio of a
working artist? Did you know that each month I stream live from my
studio on select days via Zoom?
I call these streaming events Virtual Open Studio days
, (VOS for short) and anyone can come with a Bunny Buddy
(or higher) membership on my Patreon
. Hang out with me as I
work on ... whatever I'm working on! From pasteling little "warm
fuzzies" to batches of new underpaintings, portrait commissions,
projects large and small, and occasional Paint-Alongs for some fun
participation!
August will host 4 of my VOS... You can see my schedule here.
My Patreon Page also
holds over 250 inspiring full-length recordings from from the Virtual
Open Studio Days since 2020 (also instantly accessible to Bunny Buddies)
