August 2025

Dear Subscriber,

July was amazing! My first successful 31-in-31 Daily Paintings since 2022. You can see most of them HERE, and to celebrate, I've got a poster on order!

Pastel Taiwan

10th Anniversary

International Pastelist Special Exhibition

Currently underway, I'm tickled to brag that I have 13 small paintings in this exhibit organized by the Pastel Art Promotion Association of Taiwan (PAPAT). I'm so honored to have my work hanging among such accomplished artists in the pastel world.

The exhibit is from July 29 to August 11, at the Chiang-Kei Shek Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan.

Click the images to watch some quick Instagram reels from PAPAT.

Or GO HERE to view a neat interactive Virtual exhibit of all of the works!

"In addition to teaching us about your light filled technique you also throw in a ton of other info. I especially love the emphasis on warm vs cool and how getting that right is really more important than the actual colors." ~Linda J

"You explain well, and are very kind with your critiques." ~Jan P
