to enter the Two Rivers Plein Air
event, and was still toying with offering a Pet Portrait sale. So
today I'm wrapping up this letter with my finalized decisions and some

AAAND... In keeping with my love of pets and my love of painting them,
I'm having a Pet Portrait Sale for the month of October!
The rules are simple!
All single subject 8x10 pet portraits are 33% off the regular price.
You get two choices...

8x10 Pencil Pet Portraits for $200 (regular price is $300)

8x10 Pastel Pet Portraits for $300 (regular price is $450)
This sale is for 8x10 SINGLE SUBJECT PET HEAD AND SHOULDERS ONLY, but
you can order as many as you like, in any combination. Get pencil
portraits of each of your 3 pups, for example, and a pastel of your
Aunt's constant kitty companion!
To keep things simple, no other sizes or combinations are on sale. No
humans! Framing not included but will be offered if available. Ends
October 31. Orders will be completed in the order received, which might
extend into November or December, but should be in plenty of time for
Christmas. Simply respond to this email with your images.

Two Rivers Plein Air Event

Since I thought I didn't have enough to do this month (and since
practicing landscapes has been a goal) I also decided to enter my home
town's plein air event, which I did a few years ago (when I won 3rd
place for "Passing Through", shown below!)

area. If you're into plein air painting, they still have spots left to
join!

Society
