Celebrate the end of summer in air-conditioned comfort on the Gulf
Coast!
I sure hope you can join us on the Gulf coast for this coool pastel
workshop! There are only a few spaces left.
Want learn how to create a vibrant sense of glowing light in your
pastel paintings? I will teach you how to use value and temperature as
keys to unlocking the light. You will learn to underpaint using pastel
primers to "nail the values!"
Multiple small works are encouraged for speedy artistic growth. You
will have at least three hours each day devoted to personal painting
time and individual feedback.
For adventurous beginners all the way to advanced pastelists.
(Enjoy some mornings and evenings on the beach - a 10 minute walk from
the Art Center!)

Artists' Studio Sale
Our annual Summer Sale is here again! We've had such success with it in
the last two summers that it has become a tradition. All our artist
partners clear out our studios for hidden gems that have just not yet
found a home.
These might just be older works, last of series, one-offs that don't
quite fit our usual style, or simply works that we want to move because
they're taking up too much space that we need for NEW stuff!
Here are the pieces (so far) that I have in our CHG Hot Summer Sale...
